Vladimir Kuznetsov
Vladimir Kuznetsov began working with the technology of digital production and 3D printing (then referred to as "Rapid Prototyping") in 2002 in the United States, studying the theory and practice of digital additive technologies for the manufacture of technological tools for casting processes. In 2011, he initiated the creation of the training and production center for digital production “ARTCAD” at NUST MISIS. In 2012, he established a partnership with the digital research Center for Bits and Atoms, MIT, and also opened the "fab lab" laboratory based on the "ARTCAD" center. This laboratory became the first fully open laboratory of this format in Russia and a role model for dozens of "Youth Innovation Creativity Centers". In 2014 he initiated the creation, and in 2015 – became the head of the Master's program "Technologies and Materials of Digital Production". In the same year he became a laureate of the Government of the Russian Federation Prize in the field of education. In 2016, he became the producer of the first in Russia international festival of makers – Moscow Mini Maker Faire, and in 2017, played in this role again, already at the full- format festival – Maker Faire Moscow.
