Free downloads at the Stanford version of iTunes
…Stanford has teamed up with Apple to offer a variety of audio files, such as news, music, sports, and faculty lectures, available for download from the iTunes Music Store for free, by anyone. It’s called Stanford on iTunes, and at the same time that some files are available to the public, course material and advising content is available for students connecting from within Stanford’s network. [via] Link. The files are in m4a format, at the least the ones I downloaded.
Here’s a Simple two line output combiner – Sometimes there is need to combine the output of two line level audio sources to be fed to one input. A standard way in professional audio is to use a mixing desk, but on home audio system you might want to look for a simpler and less expensive alternative. 
The best thing going for the Nintendo DS is “Nintendogs” a game of sorts where you raise a virtual puppy. Here’s a great site that shows you how to upgrade Apple’s eMac. Overclock to 1.3Ghz, add a new hard drive, run dual screens and cut down on fan noise. These eMacs are usually pretty cheap on eBay too, so it might be worth grabbing one and sup’ing it up. [
