MAKE pal CK has a cool DIY PSP stand…attached it to what used to be a cheap Ikea desk lamp and ran the charger cord through the thing, so now I have a fully positional desk stand for hands free movie viewing on my PSP. Link. Update: He made a new one!

Clint invited me out to the Seattle Vlogger class at the Apple store and did some filming about MAKE. They had HOW TOs as well as an overview of all the interesting things going on with video blogs. Someone made an amazing video of Google Earth with all the vloggers geocoded, as it zipped around, it would play video from the vlogger. I’ll try and get a copy and post it. Link. Flickr photos here.
I’m guessing you put the PSP in USB mode and it just sees/transfers/sends info around. ..A source with an Xbox 360 developer kit has been so kind to post images of the Sony PSP and the Xbox 360 interacting with each other. This feature was one of the surprises Microsoft had touted at E3 2005 earlier this year, a feature that probably drew significant attention from the Sony camp. Link.

“LinuxDevices has profiled a new portable game- and media-player based on embedded Linux. The GPX2-F100 features dual ARM9 processors, USB 2.0, a 3.5-inch color LCD, and support for both native and emulated games. A Linux SDK (software development kit) will be available when the device ships. Hmmm… I wonder how hard it’ll be to get GPE and OPIE running on it?” [via] Link.
