HOW TO make a Sunflower Oil cooled PC

HOW TO make a Sunflower Oil cooled PC

Intro We’ve covered a lot of the oil cooled PCs, and here’s another- cooled with Sunflower oil. What we did was take some unused hardware, lying around, built an acrylic case put the hardware in and filled it with sunflower oil… lots of oil ;) Then powered the machine up and it actually didn’t fry (did someone say french fries?), instead it worked perfectly fine and in some terms a lot better then when it was air cooled. RGB LED Project

RGB LED Project

Board-Icon Gerry Duprey has created a project that allows precise computer control of up to 13 RGB LEDs. The controllers can be strung together for control over hundreds of LEDs. The software is open for revision. Gerry is active on the HomeVision user forum, and we (members of the forum) are working on a “group buy” of the PC boards and components. Thanks Kerry! Link.

HOW TO make a Nintendo controller mouse

HOW TO make a Nintendo controller mouse

Nintendo-Mouse01 If you are like me you get really excited when you find two Nintendo controllers at the Salvation Army. One was priced at $1.00 and the other at $.37 (i didn’t fight the pricing). Of course, they get home and meanwhile occupy a part of my brain that is like a broken stove. There is this back burner that is constantly on. Ideas get on there and just simmer away. So the idea for one of the controllers was to make it a card reader that i can plug my sd or compact flash cards into to transfer files. Sunday morning i came up with my idea for the second one… make it a mouse. Link.
