Fabric Paper Glue posted a sweet modern geometric laptop case to keep your computer safe AND fabulous. Bonus: This is a project that you could use those little fabric scraps for. I never know what to do with those.
Design Sponge posted the perfect weekend DIY home project. I am digging this easy ottoman tutorial that creates extra seating for your home in any cool fabric you choose.
If, like me, you downright REFUSE to leave the world of Downton behind, then you will love animator Daisy Edward’s t-shirt designs on Red Bubble. Daisy creates the illustration herself and then through Red Bubble, they become t-shirts for us to wear dreaming of Downton. She also has a hilarious New Girl tee, but my heart belongs with the Granthams and Crawleys.
I LOVE this high-fashion-inspired DIY by Whimseybox and am now seriously coveting this chunky gold leather bow bracelet. I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled in the thrift stores to see if I can find some gold leather to repurpose for this one!
Threadbanger’s Rob + Corinne show us a sweet anatomical heart card to make for Valentine’s Day. I want to make one of these for the one who makes MY heart pitter patter. But since Matthew Crawley lives outside London circa 1920, maybe I’ll make one for my husband instead.
Ruffled blog, a lovely source for everything pretty and wedding-related, have some really inspiring DIY ideas displayed in their recent photoshoot. I particularly love these simple wire hearts suspended over the cake. There isn’t a full tutorial on how they did it, but it looks like the thinnest of wire made into a heart, and hung by baker’s twine. Would be great for a wedding or any party.
