I came up with so many awesome toys when researching for the STEM toys gift guide that I decided to make another gift guide, for toys that are generally inspiring or educational in some way. Here are 10 of my favorites.
Design Sponge just slayed me with the latest installment of their Holiday Gift Series. These mountain pillows by Kate Pruitt are so adorable I will have to make one for myself too. Or maybe it will be my Christmas present to my couch. It has been so good to me.
A friend of mine recently asked my advice. Apparently his 12-year-old nephew is turning out to be quite the geek. As my friend described his nephew’s love to take stuff apart and make something new with it, I could tell we had the beginnings of a fine young maker. Oh goodness, now I am re-thinking everything. I had something else in mind but just have to make this cute-as-all-get-out DIY Stick Horse by A Beautiful Mess for my nephew for Christmas. It’s utterly adorable.
