The Digital Game Museum is dedicated to the preservation of video games. As Ben Wilhelm explains at Maker Faire Bay Area 2011, the memory of many video games has fallen by the wayside, and proper documentation of them is important since they’ve now become a part of our technological history.
More sci-fi cosplay badness from prop-maker, costumer, and MAKE pal Shawn Thorsson. I haven’t played Dead Space 2, yet, but I enjoyed the first one, and I have to say that protagonist Isaac Clarke’s “Engineering RIG suit” looks exactly the same to me. I think it’s safe to describe Ryan Palser as a “replica video game prop master” at this point. Those of you who enjoyed his fantastic Fallout 3 replica weapons last summer will probably also enjoy his exquisitely crafted Portal turret replica. going on.
