This is an “eight step sequencer” that has additional volume and speed controls. It looks like there might be an Arduino in there, but I’m not sure. I wish there was more information on this project. A little more about the Vectrex Standalone Sound Sequencer
This project turns a vintage “Planet Lamp” into a parabolic microphone for recording and uses a CMoy, low power amplifier circuit for the microphone.
