Standing two meters tall, the Rygo will be the largest 3D print in North America, and will be installed at Gropp’s Gallery in Vancouver, Canada.
Aren’t these great? They are Natalie McKean’s completely one-of-a-kind, and perfectly hand painted switch plates. Each robots is rich with detail and filled with character. This set was picked up at the recent Shop Party event, but you can get yours from Natalie’s etsy store.
This upcycled Star Trek ship model is made by Brazilian artist-maker J. Azevedo who specializes in building robots and model dioramas using upcycled hardware and electronic components.

Today is my last day as Senior Video Producer for MAKE. The past four years have undoubtedly been the best times of my life so far. I’m immensely thankful to have been a part of such a dedicated, talented team– they’re like family to me. While you won’t be seeing me on the blog, Make: Live, or CRAFT videos any longer, this isn’t so much “goodbye” as “see you around–” I’ll always be a proud member of the maker community.
