When I posted the awesome giant Dalek art car yesterday, I mentioned that I hadn’t been able to find much information on the project or its creator. Thankfully I heard from Cory who, along with his wife, brought this Dr. Who dream to life. I loved hearing about their process for the project, and seeing their great build pictures and am glad we can now share them with you. Enjoy!

The Now-A-Saurus was created by Chris Merrick and is a time machine with dragonfly wings that transports its riders to the present while spitting fire from its top. At Maker Faire Bay Area 2011 this art car whose wheels and curves are pulled from sacred geometry. It roamed the ground of Maker Faire Bay Area and elicited positive reactions from onlookers.
Why not strap a monster crate motor onto a custom skateboard frame? If you did, would it be the fastest? That’s debatable.
