I had the idea that cheesecake with a phyllo crust would be really a delicious dessert. I asked a friend if she’d ever tried this before. She said no, but that it sounded delicious and would be great with honey and pistachios. So here is the recipe inspired by that conversation.
For some reason I hoard tights. I have leggings, fishnets, hose, tights, thigh highs – you name it. Sadly, several of these pairs have runs so bad they are no longer wearable. As I always say: If it will sit still long enough, I will make it into a piece of jewelry. Pantyhose are not exempt from this rule.

I’ve been using skirt and pants hangers to hold works in progress (WIP) for a half-dozen or so years. Because I lack pretty wall space, the projects that hang from the hangers generally end up in the closet where they are quickly forgotten. It’s that whole out of sight, out of mind thing, ya know? If and when I do happen across them again, I tend to forget why these pretty bits are all clipped together. My solution? Paint up a chalkboard hanger for easy labeling. It doesn’t hurt that they look pretty as well.

I was dreaming of an extravagant custom built shelving unit when a friend suggested quick and dirty cinder block shelves. I instantly thought of stacking milk crate shelves, but I realized I could maximize space if I hung them from the wall.
