Maker Faire is the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth — a family-friendly festival of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the maker movement.

Part science fair, part county fair, and part something entirely new, Maker Faire is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors. The Maker Movement will be the subject of a special Google+ Hangout on Air tomorrow, March 28, at noonPST/3pmEST. The hangout will be hosted by White House innovation advisor Tom Kalil and guests will include Dale Dougherty, founder and publisher of MAKE, Tara Tiger Brown of the Los Angeles Makerspace, Super Awesome Sylvia, Saul Griffith, co-founder of Otherlab; and Venkatesh Prasad of Ford.
