On my way to Maker Faire!
Can’t afford a plane ticket this year, so I’m having to leave way early. Gonna stop at a gas station every mile, along the way, and buy fresh C-cells. See ya in five days!
Maker Faire is the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth — a family-friendly festival of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the maker movement.
Part science fair, part county fair, and part something entirely new, Maker Faire is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors. All of these people come to Maker Faire to show what they have made and to share what they have learned.

Dale was on NBC’s Press:Here this morning, talking about the upcoming Maker Faire Bay Area, MAKE magazine, the maker movement in general and its larger import. (Dale in a suit — worth the price of admission.) You can see the other portions of the episode on the link below. Press:Here
