NES Controller USB Hub w/Wireless
Fun and easy mod– So I was inspired by many articles I saw on making an NES controller mouse, making an NES controller USB hub, an NES controller belt buckle, etc. I had my old NES (circa 1987) that I’d just pulled out of a box after my move and I decided that the dinosaur had had a good life – so I decided to upgrade the components. HOW TO make a set of highland pipes from PVC pipe
Describing the construction of these pvc pipes may prove to be much like describing on paper just how to tie a shoe-lace! Will give ‘er a go nonetheless. They’re actually made from 1/2″ light tan-colored CPVC not technically PVC but a “hot-water” version of pvc which is sold here at any hardware store in ten foot lengths. [via] Link.
Launch a robot…
TerminatorBot is a crawling robot with two arms that can also manipulate objects. It’s perfect for crawling around the wreckage of a disaster site but the limbs collapse into a cylindrical body that can be tossed or launched into specific locations, making the machine attractive for space applications or military use.
