Emlodnaor writes “i have a toshiba pdr-m700, and was wondereing if it is posible to somehow convert movies into the same format as the camera uses, too see them on the camera.. i’ve tryed some, but can’t seem to figure it out… any help would be nice.” Have any suggestions? Post them up! I’ve tried this with a few cameras and usually they store another file that you can’t replicate to play the movie you put on the camera. Link.
There are not a lot of details on this, but I’d like to see how hard it would be to make a DIY version of this outstanding water droplet picture maker “This installation works like a flat shower that shoots out water droplets with different frequency. The difference in distance between droplets results in an image.” Link.
German Artist Patricia Waller uses wool and the technique of crochet to create works of art that are out of the norm in the crafts world. Here’s a way to get Flickr photos on your iPod automatically – photocasting! – “I use flickr and when i got my iPod Video i felt that Photo Podcasting had been overlooked. After some googling and hunting on del.icio.us i couldn’t find any easy way to do this with iTunes, iPhoto or some flickr hacks. I gave it a rest until i discovered that Kalli, a fellow iPod owner and flickr nerd, was interested in getting photo podcasting going. We created a workflow in Automator that, combined with iCal, becomes a photo podcasting client.” Thanks Addi! Link.

Very cool how-to, the Maker writes “I first thought electrostatic headphones were a joke. It didn’t sound safe to strap high voltage transducers to your head. But after my work with electrostatic loudspeakers I had the skill and knowledge to try building a pair and listening to them.” [
