MAKE will be at OSCON for the rest of the week. OSCON is the annual open source convention, looks like over 2,000 people are here. MAKE will be presenting at the O’Reilly booth throughout the week (Linux devices, PSP hacking…) and doing a presentation on Friday (DIY culture stuff). Is there anything the TI’s can’t do?…it’s not one of those slow and unplayable basic games. This is a real-time 3d-raycaster based on the game by id. Also includes an on-calc mapeditor. Link.
This python script runs on Linux and harvests system stats, creating graphs and assembling them in a page suitable for viewing on the PSP. It also dynamically reloads the images through Javascript, creating a smoother user experience. Tested with firmware 2.00 only. Link.

Everyone at DEFCON went out of their way to get/learn/explore the Cisco flaw because of the way it was (poorly) handled…Angered and inspired by Cisco’s attempts to suppress news of the flaw earlier in the week, several computer security experts at the Defcon computer-security conference worked past midnight Saturday to discover and map out the vulnerability. I saw the PDF(s) actually being handed out to random people all over Vegas too. Link.
