The term “mash-up” or “bootleg” (or, more commonly, just “boot”) describes the result of mixing together two or more records to create a whole new track. Though originally performed live using turntables and DJ mixers, recent advances in sequencing software have taken this art-form to a whole new level. The easiest way to fix the dreaded Firewire cable de-coupling is to put a thin layer of Gorilla Glue on the exposed metal part of the FireWire cable being careful not to over-apply Link.

MAKE pal C.K. Sample has a good overview of all the new things with the PSP Firmware v2.0. It looks interesting, and I’ll update once I have another PSP, otherwise (for me) the web browser isn’t really enough to give up all the homebrew games and applications. The coolest thing is the video/audio download and pictures via Wi-Fi, there’s a ton of projects and physical space stuff you can do with that. Link.
