Maker Faire is the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth — a family-friendly festival of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the maker movement.
Part science fair, part county fair, and part something entirely new, Maker Faire is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors. All of these people come to Maker Faire to show what they have made and to share what they have learned.

Race Your Way to Maker Faire
Do you have a need for speed? At this year’s Maker Faire, there are two ways for you to test your vehicle building and racing chops. Both the Fun Bike Unicorn Club and the Power Racing Series challenge teams to build unique, DIY vehicles and bring them to Maker Faire for a series of friendly competitions.

Today on Food Makers: All About Maker Faire’s Homegrown Village
We’re gearing up for Maker Faire Bay Area (May 18-19) here at MAKE HQ. One of the recurring features at Maker Faire is the Homegrown Village, a hands-on (and handmade) collection of displays and exhibits that celebrate the most fundamental form of making: making food!
