Redditor Soonermandan’s first DIY project is this set of three wooden pedals which he built to use while playing Battlefield 3. No word yet if his project has given him a competitive advantage during gameplay.
We’ve seen plenty of human-powered fair attractions, however most of them make use of pedals, levers or perhaps re-purposed bicycles as their interface for locomotion. This one is a bit simpler than that, as the operator just grabs onto the guard rail and pulls, kind of like a vertical roundabout.
